Hi, I am Iustina! I have graduated with a BSc in Psychology in June 2024. Despite being a direct entry international student during COVID times, I have deeply enjoyed my time at Heriot Watt University. I am passionate about helping others succeed, learning, and finding joy in simple things. My personal motto is: 'Between possible and impossible, two letters and a state of mind' (Charles de Gaulle - 'Entre possible et impossible, deux lettres et un etat d'esprit;).

My favourite highlight of my university experience is growing as a person through the things I learnt, the friends I made, the academic interactions I had, and most definitely through my experiences of being class rep for 3 consecutive years, as well as a committee member for both the Aikido club and the Psychology Society. These all allowed me to develop personally and professionally, empowering me to obtain first class degree, as well as an award from the British Psychology Society for being the best performing student of my cohort! So, my advice to you is: Work Hard, Get Involved, and most of all, Stay Positive!
