Undergraduates

Temporary suspension of studies

If you are an undergraduate student and you wish to suspend your studies (policy on suspending your studies), please complete the online form.

Extension to period of study

If you wish to extend your period of study you will need to complete the Amendment to Registration form and submit it via Ask HWU and Log an Enquiry in the student portal.

Postgraduates excluding research students

Temporary suspension of studies

If you are a postgraduate student and you wish to suspend your studies (policy on suspending your studies), please complete the online form.

Extension to period of study

If you are a postgraduate taught student and you wish to extend your period of study for no longer than one additional year from date of first registration, you should complete the Amendment to Registration (Approval by School) form and submit it via Ask HWU and Log an Enquiry in the student portal.

If you are a postgraduate taught student and you wish to extend your period of study for longer than one additional year from date of first registration, you should complete the Amendment to Registration form and submit it via Ask HWU and Log an Enquiry in the student portal.

Amend your attendance level or study method

If you are a postgraduate taught student and you wish to amend your attendance level or study method, you should complete the Amendment to Registration form and submit it via Ask HWU and Log an Enquiry in the student portal.

Postgraduates Research Students

Temporary suspension of studies

If you are a postgraduate student and you wish to suspend your studies (policy on suspending your studies), please complete the online form.

Extension to period of study

If you are a postgraduate research student and you wish to extend your period of study for no longer than six months from date of first registration, you should complete the Amendment to Registration (Approval by School) form and submit it to your School PGR office.

If you are a postgraduate research student and you wish to extend your period of study but have already extended your studies for the maximum period of 12 months, you should complete the Amendment to Registration form and submit it to your School office.
