The Study UK Alumni Awards by British Council Malaysia is a flagship event that celebrates the significant impact that outstanding Malaysian UK alumni have made on their professions, societies, and in the country. The awards celebrated alumni from professionals and entrepreneurs to artists and community leaders across four broad categories – Science and Sustainability, Business and Innovation, Culture and Creativity and Social Action.
The sixth edition of the Malaysian Study UK Alumni Awards was held as a gala dinner celebration at the W Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on 29 February 2024. It brought together outstanding UK Alumni from different industries, diverse stakeholders from public and corporate sectors as well as university representatives.
Heriot-Watt University Malaysia (HWUM) was represented by Professor Mushtak Al-Atabi, Provost & Chief Executive Officer and Diyana Kamar, Manager, Public Relations (PR) & Communications.
HWUM looks forward to participate in nominating our talented, successful Malaysian alumni for next year's award ceremony.
