Heriot-Watt's enterprise team offer expert advice for start-ups and University spin-outs across a range of business-related activities including funding options, intellectual property, finance, sales and marketing support.

The University is a key supporter of Converge Challenge. The Converge team, based in GRID, helps staff, students and graduates realise the commercial value of their creative ideas turning fledgling businesses into investor-ready opportunities.

An Incubator of Ideas

Heriot-Watt's world-class facilities serve as an incubator for start-ups and entrepreneurs to cultivate fragile business ideas in a collaborative environment. 

Heriot-Watt University operate the biggest international business school in Scotland, based on student numbers, and offers a number of creative spaces to support early businesses. 

Start-ups co-locate to the Edinburgh Business School or the GRID at Heriot-Watt where they can connect directly to the enterprise team and work in a collaborative environment.
