The School of Textiles and Design is opening its doors to an in-person event on today (19 August), where Postgraduate students will showcase their work.
The Postgraduate Showcase 2022 incorporates videos, slide shows and static imagery.
Students will also continue to exhibit their work via an online showcase, which provides a global platform for students to display their work internationally
This year's theme is “Focus” as it resonates focusing on the future and how the students have directed their way of working and how this has redefined their final year.
Professor Fiona Waldron, Executive Dean for the School of Textiles & Design, said: “It has been another challenging year, but students have been able to return to campus as the protocols for COVID-19 eased. This has been a wonderful opportunity for students to reignite their friendships and utilise the campus facilities at both the Scottish Borders Campus and Dubai. I am immensely proud of the achievement of all students as they continue to produce high quality work.
“The annual postgraduate Degree show is a highlight for students to finally see their projects showcased and a wonderful chance for us all to celebrate their work.”
There is also an opportunity for anyone to visit the Galashiels campus and view the degree show from 20 - 26 August.
You can find out more about the show on facebook and instagram.
