Attendance options

Please carefully read the attendance options below. 

Attend in person

Please select this option if you wish to attend a ceremony in person. When you apply to attend, you will be given the following options as part of the online graduation application:

• Decide how we use your student data;
• Update your contact details;
• Select tickets. Remember to select a Student Reception Ticket if you wish to attend the reception with your guests;
• Inform us of any special arrangements for you or your guests (e.g. wheelchair access, mobility problems, visual impairments etc.);
• Make payment if appropriate.

Important: your online application to graduate does not include gown or hood hire. This will need to be done separately via the suppliers. Please visit the appropriate webpages for Edinburgh, Dubai or Malaysia for further information.

Graduate in Absentia

Please select this option if you do not wish to attend a ceremony in person and would like your certificate sent to you. When you graduate in absentia, you will be given the following options as part of the online graduation application:

• Decide how we use your student data;
• Update your contact details;
• Select delivery option.
• Provide an address for your certificate to be sent to;
• Make payment if appropriate.

Please allow 4-6 weeks after the graduation date for delivery.
