What we do
Since 2008 the Interactive and Trustworthy Technologies group has studied how people interact with technology, and the impacts that technology has on the population in terms of convenience, usability, performance and security.
Our work builds on user-centred design tradition where end-users are seen as active co-constructors of functionality, and we rely upon additional group skills in areas such as machine learning, sensors, and software and systems. In addition to critical evaluations of current systems, our research establishes new methodologies and new technology solutions, often involving novel interactions, e.g., thermal interfaces, and non-visual interactions in autonomous vehicles.
