Interactive and Trustworthy Technologies Group
What we do
Since 2008 the Interactive and Trustworthy Technologies group has studied how people interact with technology, and the impacts that technology has on the population in terms of convenience, usability, performance, and security.
Our work builds on user-centred design tradition where end-users are seen as active co-constructors of functionality, as well as our HCI and HRI expertise we also work in the areas of machine learning, sensors, and software and systems. In addition to critical evaluations of current systems, our research establishes new methodologies and new technology solutions, often involving novel interactions, e.g., thermal interfaces, Brain Computer Interfaces, multimodal interaction with robots, and non-visual interactions in autonomous vehicles.
Key areas of research
- Human Robot Interaction (HRI)
- Human Computer Interaction (HCI)
