MSc Business Psychology: Ahmad Munir Akram Ahmad Faiz

I am a dedicated motivator and cultivator of corporate talents. I invest my time in engaging with these individuals and guiding them towards unlocking their full potential. Upon initiating our interactions, I always like to provide a brief introduction, playfully mentioning that my foundation in business psychology originates from my master's studies at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia. With a light-hearted comment like "Watch out, I might just read your mind," I find that I'm able to break the initial ice with these talents. Beyond the humour, however, this accomplishment significantly bolsters my position as the HR Business Partner for one of Malaysia's most prominent publicly listed companies.

The insights I've gained through my experience at Heriot-Watt have empowered me to explore novel knowledge and skills. This has translated into my ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders in tackling various organisational challenges. From nurturing leaders as effective coaches to constructing psychologically secure work environments and even addressing bias within the workplace, I've been equipped with the tools to make a substantial impact. The comprehensive master's programme has not only refined my capabilities but also positioned me well for my current role.
