Dr. Zakiya Abdul Samad is an Assistant Professor in Accounting, Economics, and Finance (AEF) at Edinburgh Business School, where she also serves as the Program Director for the MA in Business and Finance. She teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Accounting, Economics, and Finance, specializing in Corporate Finance, International Finance, Personal Finance, Micro and Macro Economics, and Fintech. Dr. Zakiya is the Global Course Leader for Fintech Applications and Innovations at the postgraduate level. Additionally, she coordinates postgraduate dissertations, is the principal contact for CFA Charter affiliation at the Dubai Campus, and acts as the School Coordinator for the SAP University Alliance program
