Dr. Yusuf Hassan has established himself as a distinguished scholar in management, with a focus on organizational behaviour and sports management. He was selected among 20 participants out of over 1,400 applicants for the prestigious Democratizing Education for Global Sustainability and Justice (DemEd Global) program at the University of Cambridge (2024). His academic excellence has been recognized through the Emerging Scholar Award at the International Conference on Sport & Society (Spain, 2024; USA, 2023) and the NIPM-DU Gold Medal during his postgraduate studies.
Dr. Hassan has delivered guest lectures at institutions such as the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode and has chaired sessions at international conferences like the International HR Conference Cum Conclave (IHRCC-2023). He has represented India globally, including as a member of the Indian Youth Delegation to China (2019), organized by the governments of India and China.
He has secured competitive grants, including a $6,500 award from the Muma Research Investment Program (University of South Florida), a €128,300 grant for the Communities of Practice project (Education Endowment Foundation, UK), and a €318,540 grant for the Micro Learning Entrepreneurship for Athletes (MLEA) project (Erasmus+ program and European Union).
