Vanessa is currently an Assistant Professor in Design teaching on the Foundation Degree programme.
Vanessa has specialised in undergraduate fashion and design education since 2015, this tenure provided Vanessa with the opportunity to mentor a wide range of emerging talents, fostering their creativity and critical thinking.
With a professional focus on design for sustainability, Vanessa is dedicated to reimagining a more ecologically conscious and sustainable future through design. She explores the potential of design not only to mirror societal values but also to contribute to the planet's well-being.

Research
Vanessa’s current research focuses on exploring our connection with materiality, as well as developing design processes for circular systems, sustainability and design education.
