Biography
Olga is an assistant professor at Heriot-Watt University, Dubai, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students in the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences. Subjects that Olga teaches include Renewable Energy Technologies, Environmental Impact Assessment, and Business Awareness, Safety and Sustainability.
She participates in research activities through the students’ projects in the field of Renewable Energy, Energy Storage, Mechanical and Environmental Sciences. Under her supervision, a team of students won the People’s Prize for Engineers Without Borders' 'Engineering for People Design Challenge', assisting communities located in the Tamil Nadu region in India.
Research
Research area includes Renewable Energy, Dynamic Simulation modelling, environmental assessment, Robotics and Fog Collectors.
