Allan Louie Lompot

About

Allan Louie Lompot is an Assistant Professor of Interior Design School of Textiles and Design.

Heriot-Watt University Dubai. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the Mapua Institute of Technology, Philippines.  

With nearly two decades of combined experience in both industry and academia, he has developed his expertise in the Philippines and the UAE. His technical skills and areas of interest demonstrate his commitment to lifelong learning, as he continually engages with the latest trends in industry-standard software, particularly Auto Desk and Adobe products. 

His area of competence encompasses Interior Architecture, with a focus on residential and commercial design, retail design, project management, and building sciences. His research interests include generative artificial intelligence, innovative design pedagogy, and sustainability with a particular emphasis on green buildings and green practices. Recently, he has been exploring the integration of generative AI into innovative design education.
