Our Dubai Campus

Exterior of Heriot Watt Dubai new campus building

Our Dubai campus cultivates a truly multi-cultural environment in which our students and employees live to the full, make lasting friendships and enjoy everything that one of the world's greatest cities has to offer. Heriot-Watt University was the first British university to open its doors in Dubai International Academic City. Having provided a world-renowned education within the UK for 190 years, Heriot-Watt was invited to Dubai to educate students from all over the Gulf region and beyond.

Living and working in Dubai offers a fabulous international career, and is a destination that mixes modern culture with history, adventure with world-class shopping and entertainment. Catch a show at the Dubai Opera, see downtown atop the Burj Khalifa and spend an afternoon along Dubai Creek exploring the gold, textile and spice souks. If you're looking for thrills, you can float above the desert dunes in a hot air balloon, climb aboard a high-speed ride at IMG Worlds of Adventure or skydive over the Palm Jumeirah.
