What appealed to you most about Heriot-Watt University?

I enjoy my time in Heriot-Watt! The lecturers that I have are sharp and engaging, the student association is my favourite platform to create an impact, express myself and develop my soft skills.

What tips would you give to a student thinking of studying at Heriot-Watt?

Preparation is everything

What did you enjoy the most about studying your degree?

Listening to charismatic lecturers and participating in student led events.

Do you feel your degree has prepared you well for a career?

Definitely, I believe my studies compliment my aspiration to be a successful entrepreneur.

Has your degree programme helped you develop links with industry?

Yes, the programme has invited organizational leaders to talk about a topic that's related to a recent lecture, I find this really helpful as it gives me the chance to ask questions to a real person that has applied the theory.

How do you think your degree will impact on your career prospects?

My degree programme links theories with current market practices. This equips me with knowledge and awareness of the industry's current practices and best practices, it is important for me, as it will give me the competitive edge when applying for internship and jobs. However, despite this I still acknowledge that the rest will be due to my effort and how I deal with real life later.
