What appealed to you most about Heriot-Watt University?

My main reason is the reputation of the university itself in the field of business studies. Being one of the leading universities in the UK, a Master's Degree from Heriot-Watt is internationally recognized, which sealed the deal for me.

What tips would you give to a student thinking of studying at Heriot-Watt?

It offers a great deal of opportunities to the students. Assignments, presentations, group projects are part of the course. It gives you an effective learning experience while improvising your communication and interpersonal skills. So take advantage of what the university has to offer.

What did you enjoy the most about studying your degree?

The number of students in my course was relatively small. Therefore it was easy to communicate with my course mates and also the lecturers. At the end of my second semester, I have made some really good friends. Also, I enjoy the sight of the “living grass roof” which I believe is a good setting for learning environment./p>

Do you feel your degree has prepared you well for a career?

Most of my classes are tied to real world examples for my career. It gives me the all the knowledge required by a career. I hope to make use of the knowledge I attained to gain experience in the future.

Has your degree programme helped you develop links with industry?

My degree programme has been keeping me updated with careers related to International Business Management. This programme has helped me understand how the industry works as well as its ongoing challenges.

How do you think your degree will impact on your career prospects?

Being part of one of the world's most renowned university, I believe that my career in this field of study is very good. As I previously mentioned, the skills and knowledge I attained from this programme is well preparing me for the industry as a competitive employee.
