About
Lindsay is responsible for ensuring enactment of the strategy and development and delivery of the programme and associated initiatives to meet our environmental commitments. She has over 18 years' experience in project management and consultancy, working on large-scale, international projects between industry and academia in the energy and environment sectors. She was previously based in Tromsø, Norway at an independent environmental consultancy and research institute, managing several multi-partner projects and providing consultancy support for the European Commission. She holds an MSc from Royal Holloway and UCL, a PhD in Physical Geography from St Andrews University and has held a postdoctoral position at the University of Tromsø where she regularly participated in scientific cruises to the high Arctic region. She currently spends her weekends redesigning her garden and setting up an allotment having recently completed a design course at the Royal Botanic Gardens.
