About

Flora has joined the Sustainability team earlier this year as a Project Support Officer.  Her role is to support the Strategic Programme Lead, Lindsay Wilson, and the wider team, in the delivery of key sustainability projects which support Heriot-Watt University in its net zero transition. In her previous role, Flora worked for a professional services consultancy where she managed and supported a range of infrastructure projects. At the weekends she can be found out in the countryside on her road bike or paddle boarding on a chilly Scottish loch.

In 2024 the team were delighted to receive a Special Recognition Award at the Heriot Watt Student Union (SU) from the SU Officers. The SU and Sustainability teams collaborated on the development of the Student Sustainability Forum and ensured invaluable input from the students on the Climate Action Framework.
