WHAT THE FOOD?

This is a community global kitchen with a food court that I have design for my final major project of my 4th year of university. For this project we were asked to choose a building from anywhere globally and repurpose it to design something useful and good for the community.

The building I chose for my project is the Citadel building located in Leith, Edinburgh, and repurpose it to make a community global kitchen, mainly targeting immigrants to help them learn English while doing something they enjoy. And all the food made in the kitchen by the students will be sold in the food court, so no food goes in waste.

I called my project “WHAT THE FOOD?” because every week there will be a different menu on the table from a different country, so no one will know what to expect until they actually go in there.
