Director of the Global Incubator:
Assistant Professor Tom Pfefferkorn
Tom is the Director of the Global Incubator, overseeing an integral part of the University's commercialisation offering. Tom is an Assistant Professor of Business Management at Edinburgh Business School, a fellow of Advance HE (FHEA), a member of CMI, a serial entrepreneur, and a technology consultant. Tom's expertise in technology and manufacturing readiness for investment underpins the EBS Global Incubator's capacity to commercialise research outputs, scale-up technology start-ups, and accelerate their sustainable growth. Incubator Manager (Edinburgh):
Danielle Moran
Danielle is the Edinburgh Business School Incubator Manager. Danielle brings a wealth of knowledge and insight from working with senior executives and investors at a strategic and operational level within an industry setting before joining the commercialisation team at Heriot Watt to work with aspiring entrepreneurs and start-ups.
Having worked on a variety of projects, Danielle brings experience in all things Marketing, Strategy, Business processes, Business development, Relationship management, internationalisation and sustainability. Working closely with each of our incubator fellows, Danielle aims to promote sustainable growth and resilience amongst our incubator companies by equipping each fellow with the skills, knowledge, confidence and support to succeed and grow as part of the incubator and beyond. 
Incubator Manager (Dubai):
Huma Imdad
Huma is a sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship specialist with an MS in Development Studies and MBA. She has been involved in multiple social development projects. With knowledge of social innovation and entrepreneurship she has founded Zhaagh Business Solutions, Muzh Studios, SharingOut and HerQbator, all running to date. She is Enterprise Executive and EBS Incubator Manager in HW Dubai.
She has diverse experience of working in Pakistan, UAE, KSA and US in different fields such as entrepreneurship, women’s economic and political empowerment, and food security. She continues to provide mentorship and training to social entrepreneurs and represents her country on numerous panel discussions and initiatives.
