Our vision

Heriot-Watt is a creator of innovators and entrepreneurs, finding solutions to the modern-day challenges we face. Yet there are many barriers and challenges when trying to launch a new venture and without early stage funding and support, most innovators will not be able to realise their full potential. 

Our vision is to develop a fund to invest directly in student start-ups by providing funding and expertise to help bridge the gap to turn their ideas into a sustainable business.

• digital innovation, robotic automation, and artificial intelligence that have the potential to revolutionise the future of work, boosting productivity across wider society
