27. Prunus serrula 'Tibetica’
Prunus serrula Tibetica, Tibetan Cherry is a small fast-growing tree is grown for its mahogany/brown peeling bark which is smooth and polished in appearance. The small white flowers appear in Spring along with narrow, dark green leaves. This lovely tree provides great interest in a garden throughout the Winter. It grows to a height of 6-8m and is a great tree for all gardens as well as parks. Grows in all well drained, moist soils in full sun or partial shade, avoid waterlogged areas.
