Leanne Lamson

I wanted to create a place in the heart of Edinburgh, where anyone and everyone is welcome to, a place that is filled with endless activities and endless culture. I wanted the building to encourage people to come and be themselves and share their cultures as well as inspire people to learn about other cultures.

The building takes on an indoor garden vibe with lots of space and a minimal earthy tone and colours to create a peaceful and unique atmosphere for people to meet and bond together. The building I’ve chosen is the old Infirmary Bathhouse on Infirmary Street, Edinburgh. Another aspect of my concept is connections.

My building doesn’t only aim to make connections between it’s visitors but also in its design and the building.
