Improving Productivity in Workspaces - Color, Texture and Flexibility
The design of office spaces has a significant impact on employee productivity, creativity, and overall well-being. Traditional office designs often fail to leverage the psychological benefits of texture and colour, which can stimulate the senses and create a more engaging and motivating work environment. This research aims to explore how the strategic use of texture, colour and flexibility in office redesign can enhance productivity and job satisfaction among employees.
This design concept explores the impact of texture and colour on coworking spaces, aiming to enhance productivity and foster community. By incorporating diverse textures and strategic colour zones, the redesigned open-plan space will balance focus and collaboration. Flexible furniture and movable partitions will allow customisation, supporting both individual work and team interactions. Shared amenities will encourage networking and idea exchange, creating a vibrant, multi-sensory environment that boosts productivity and community engagement. This design provides a model for future coworking spaces that ensure productivity
