Inspired from the feeling of self-consciousness I had about how my skin looked while growing up, which eventually drained my self-expression and confidence.

In order to cope with the society’s idea of beauty standards made me create prints and patterns for my master’s project through diverse skin types and conditions as an expression of skin positivity against racism to address that every skin is beautiful and unique on its own way and deserves to be celebrated and accepted as ‘normal’.

My project talks about celebrating skin and being confident about your own skin regardless of its colour and texture.
