My design project draws inspiration from my personal journey of self-discovery during the aftermath of the Easter attacks in Sri Lanka. Veiling my face from 2017 to 2019 due to religious reasons, I experienced a unique blend of visibility and anonymity. The Easter attacks in Sri Lanka led to the banning of veils, including the one I wore. This forced exposure prompted me to create various personas as coping mechanisms. Initially, I maintained a singular persona for navigating without judgment, but post-ban, I constructed multiple characters to adapt to different contexts.

Through this project, I aimed  to narrate the tangible and intangible aspects of this experience, reflecting resilience, change, and self-discovery. I created a 3D collection exploring human personas and their significance within social interactions, considering environmental influences and the repercussions of such actions.
