The motivation for this project came from having to move to another country leaving my home. Everything around me looked very gloomy to me and a bit scary. I was feeling very homesick, and the scenery didn’t help much. I began this project as a coping mechanism and to keep my mind in a place I loved to provide a sense of control and familiarity. Hence, I wanted to create a soft, safe and tolerant version of a space where you almost lose touch with reality. Showing a mix of order and chaos while encapsulating the worlds of fictional narratives in a person’s mind.
I created a space that mirrors the intricacies of the mind, where fictional elements can coexist with personal reflections, providing a unique and immersive experience. I wanted my project to serve as a personal sanctuary, allowing me to express my emotions, thoughts, and creativity in a way that resonates with my own inner world.
