Roddy Berry

Roddy Berry

My project aims to identify the fitting issues related to the men’s size plus clothes and design a capsule collection of essential menswear size plus garments. The balance and some construction details were seriously reworked to achieve good fit and comfort.

All the garments in my collection are made of different kinds of cotton, produced sustainably and sourced both locally and internationally. The bomber jacket is made of waxed cotton proudly made in Scotland by Halley Stevensons. The classy white shirt, made of the finest shirting cotton was kindly donated by Alumo fabrics to support my project.

For my casual outfit, I managed to find great high performance jersey cotton sourced from Portugal. Real Mother of Pearl buttons were handstitched to the shirt and a jacket with silk threads. All the zippers on my garments are high-end, individually polished, and made in Switzerland by Riri. Labels and lining for bomber jacket were digitally printed on silk bamboo fabrics on campus.
