Nexus Experience Centre

Nexus an Experiential museum that seamlessly connects past experiences with water to present-day environmental challenges, notably flash floods. This project goes beyond problem-solving, exploring the deep societal and human dimensions of our relationship with land and water.

Through interactive exhibits and thoughtful design, Nexus aims to deepen our understanding of these connections and provoke reflection on our role in addressing climate-induced changes.

Through a comprehensive review of 100 images documenting the 2022 flash flood in Fujairah, three critical stages emerged: water response and its consequential impacts. Integral to this analysis was a keen examination of the social and human dynamics intertwined with the flood narrative, shedding light on the immediate community responses and broader societal repercussions.
