The study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how the cosmetic industry can leverage augmented reality (AR) technology to generate purchase intentions in online retail environments, specifically within the makeup segment, and how it can be improved to provide a realistic experience for consumer demands and needs. Virtual try-ons are used for the convenience of customer shopping. This technology allows the customers to try on and interact with the products they need at ease within their homes. This avoids going to store physically and the obstacle of traffic and later finding the product is out of stock.
