Reef Retreat

‘Reef Retreat’ is a printed-drawing, interior collection that focuses on the natural forms of sea life. I wanted my final outcomes to showcase the different details and colours that can be found within the sea, whilst including an aspect of botanical style studies.

My motifs are all hand-drawn with pens and pencils, except from some of the seaweed which I collected from my local beach and pressed to then use for my patterns - adding contrast and a trendy element.

My target market is mid to high-end interiors, with fabrics and wallpapers being used in spaces for homes, hotels and coastal holiday accommodation such as luxury lodges. I see my designs sitting in locations such as Whitekirk Hill in North Berwick and several destinations in Cornwall.
