Soft Romance

An interior collection intended for commercial or domestic use, such as a hotel or getaway destination. Combining digitally printed backgrounds with screen printing to modernise traditional, romantic interiors. I set myself the brief to translate water colour paintings of florals into screen print designs and achieved this by drawing separations on drafting film to expose them onto screens.

I was able to further explore my love of screen printing and appreciate the attention to detail needed in the hands-on technique. Taking colour use into consideration to evoke peaceful emotions, I created a cohesive range of upholstery fabrics and products including a stool, lamp, and cushions.
