I have produced a collection of large, vibrant geometric prints that will capture the viewers’ attention thought the use of bold colours and patterns. The theme is centred around the shapes from sewing techniques and pattern pieces given to me by my late grandmother, as I aimed to give them a new lease of life through abstract and geometric art.

My intention was to create surface pattern-led designs that are multipurpose and can therefore be used across different market sectors, as well as being shown in galleries - in turn creating a sustainable approach to designing classic prints. For example, the design can be used in an art instillation but could also be used in a jacket.
