'This Is Just for Men' by Anna Thorpe

'This Is Just for Men' is a reflective contemporary publication that shares the different struggles women face throughout their lives. This project has allowed me to share my personal experiences of growing up a woman and raise awareness for women all over the world.

I have created six narratives, each one exploring a different struggle. My work is very bright and girly, which reflects my personality. My whole publication is a bit of a mockery of society for how women are treated. I aim to attract an audience through my powerful images, expressive graphics, witty language, and informal articles.

This Is Just for The Girls is an extension of This Is Just for Men. Each shoot explores more into the struggles women face throughout their lives. My portfolio showcases powerful photography that celebrates women and expresses the emotions women feel because of society's expectations of them.
