Our MSc in International Business Management provides you with a strong understanding of the modern business landscape, applying key theories in practical, real-world contexts, allowing you to learn essential international business management knowledge that prepares you for professional and managerial roles across private, public, and third-sector organisations.
This programme is aimed at graduates and professionals from non-management backgrounds who are looking to enhance or redirect their careers. Alongside subject expertise, you’ll develop valuable transferable skills to support your long-term career progression including effective teamwork and independent working, strong written and verbal communication, digital literacy, and the ability to interpret a wide range of numerical and graphical data.
The programme is highly practice-oriented. In the final part of this degree, you'll get a chance to work on a company consultancy project which allows you to understand business issues and apply concepts learnt during the programme. This invaluable skillset will make you highly sought after upon graduation.

Entry requirements
We have standard entry requirements for all of our courses that you will have to meet.
Year 1
A minimum of honours degree at 2:2 or non-UK equivalent in any academic subject provided that it includes evidence of essay writing and use of critical thinking.
We welcome applications from international students and accept qualifications from around the world. Please refer to the entry requirements for your country for more details.
English language requirements
If your first language is not English, we'll need to see evidence of your English language ability.
The minimum English language requirement for entry to this programme is IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent) with no score lower than 5.5 except for writing which must be at 6.0 minimum.
If you do not have IELTS 6.0, we offer a range of English language courses to help you meet the English language requirement for this programme prior to commencing your studies.
